i thoroughly believe that this pasta cures all colds. btw, this requires a lot chopping, which seems daunting when you feel like hell, but its well worth it cause it will make you better! or, better yet, get a volunteer to make it for you! crazy cold care pasta you need: one head of garlic good olive oil a 'bunch' of parsley fettucine or other broad pasta shape (1/2 standard box) salt & pepper splash of lemon juice (optional) romano or parm cheese frying pan (big enuff to put yr pasta in when its done) pasta cooking pot 1. get the water started for pasta. remember, use as large a pot as you can for pasta, it need to be able to 'swim.' 2. chop the ENTIRE head of garlic, as finely as you have the patience for. do NOT use pre-chopped garlic from a jar, the whole point here is fresh raw garlic! set aside. 3. chop the whole bunch of parsley. (grocery stores usually sell parsley in standard sized 'bunches'.) chop it as fine as you can. 4. the water is probably boiling, add yr pasta. 5. put about 1/4 c. of olive oil in the frying pan. add the garlic and stir it around. now heat it up *slowly* on very low heat. you dont want to cook the garlic at all, just heat it up. after a few minutes, add the chopped parsley. be careful that you arnt cooking the garlic. you just want this stuff all warm and covered in olive oil. add some salt and pepper. add the splash of lemon juice if want. turn off the heat. 6. drain the pasta well, then start adding it to the pan of garlic/parsley, a little at a time, making sure that you have it all evenly distributed. 7. thats it! put some in a bowl and eat it up! add some romano or parm if you want. make sure you eat the whole mess, go back for seconds a few hours later if you must. the point is to consume the whole head of garlic when you are first feeling sick!
